Arthur Winston Faubion, 92, passed away peacefully at home on August 3, 2023, in Georgetown, Texas.

Arthur "Winston" Faubion was born to the late Arthur Faubion and Mary Ethel Craven Faubion on December 15, 1930, in Leander, Texas. His parents were descendants of pioneer families that settled in Williamson County.

He graduated from Leander High School in 1947. He was drafted in 1951 and served as a Sergeant with Headquarters Company, 7th Infantry Division in Korea.

He began his Post Office career in Austin, Texas on December 4, 1956, and was appointed Postmaster to Leander, Texas in 1963. Winston retired in 1986 and moved to San Angelo, Texas where he was a member of the St. Paul Presbyterian Church.

He returned to the Georgetown area in 2021 where he joined The Worship Place.

He was preceded in death by son, Gary Winston Faubion, brother, Donald Craven Faubion, and sister, Norma Nell Faubion.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Terry Tobin Faubion, son Gordon Winston Faubion (Holly), daughter Liz Ann Faubion Reagan (Dennis), stepdaughter Chrys Ledwell (Corey), and stepson Tobin Lefler (Michele). He is also survived by five grandchildren, Leigh Richter (Josh), Kelsey Faubion, Tanner Faubion, Ty Dufner, Hannah Faubion, two great granddaughters, Haven Sadler, Emrie Sadler, and extended family.
Visitation will be held at Ramsey Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas on Monday, August 7, 2023, from 5-7pm. Services will be held at the Central Texas Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at 9am.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the ASPCA organization.
