Arleigh "Kay" Henley of Sun City Texas, Georgetown, TX passed away on December 10, 2025.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 – 3:00 pm on February 7, 2026, in Sun City Texas at The Oaks, 301 Del Webb Blvd, Legacy Hills Golf Club.  Mexican food will be served in Kay's honor as it was her favorite.

Arleigh Kay was born in Texarkana, AR to Arthur Lee Henley and Marilyn Cathey Henley on June 20, 1950.  She is survived by her children, Teel Nichole Scott Gess and Desmond Thomas Scott, her brother Arthur Lynn Henley and her sister Donna Henley Provence, five grandchildren and many extended family members.

She had a long and varied career which concluded at Meriplex Communications in Houston, TX, which she helped found and build into a large and successful business.  She volunteered many hours of her time to non-profit organizations including Beta Sigma Phi, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Sun City Texas Community Association and many others.

She will be remembered for her love of family and friends and her dedication to helping others.  And she will be sorely missed by those who survive her.
