Antonia Robles Galea's Obituary
Our beloved mother, Antonia Robles Galea, 76, of Austin,Texas went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, September 10, 2016. Antonia was born on May 2, 1940 in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
Blessed was our loving mother, wife, tia, grandmother and friend. She was a woman of God who raised us up in the way of the Lord! We will live with out her physically, but she will always remain in our hearts ... She will also be remembered for her cooking and always giving to others. She fought hard not wanting to leave her loved ones! Antonia was very giving and adored her family and friends. The Lord has extended His arms for her to come home and to rest in the heavenly skies. Her suffering is behind her now and we can only imagine the overwhelming joy she is feeling now.
Antonia was preceded in death by her husband, Adelino Robles, and son, Julio Robles.
Antonia will be sadly missed by her husband, Candido Galea; sons: Edwin S.Robles and Adelino Robles; six daughters: Blanca Iris Robles, Maria Olivero, Ada Concepcion, Noemi Robles Martinez, Genoveva Robles, and Irene Zayas; 28 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed!
God saw it fit to take her home to be with him, my father, and my brother. Mom thank you for loving us unconditionally. We love you forever. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place no one else can ever fill. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone. Part of all of us went with you the day God took you home. Always in our hearts we will see you again in heaven. Our loving mother, grandmother, and wife.
A time of visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 12, 2016 with the funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home. 5600 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas 78633.
Additional services will be held in New York, where Mrs. Robles will be laid to rest.
