Alvin O’Neal Tucker entered into eternal rest with his beloved Lord and Savior on July 15, 2026 at the age of 88.

Born on February 22, 1938 he was the fifth of six children, and throughout his life remained deeply committed to his family.

Al served in the US Air Force, was a licensed pilot and realtor, and had a long and distinguished career as a retail management executive in numerous states, earning national awards and accolades. He served on the Board of Directors of the Salvation Army.

Al loved God, his church, his family and his friends. He was a tender-hearted and compassionate man, known for giving loving hugs to all.

He cherished his church men’s group, the “Coffee Sippers,” and was known to say, “Life is not always fair, but Jesus is always there.”

In lieu of flowers, Al requested donations to The Worship Place Building Fund or the Salvation Army.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Donalda, and their daughter, Judy.

A private family inurnment will be held at the Central Texas State Veteran Cemetery, in Killeen, Texas.

A Celebration of Al's Life will be held at a future date at The Worship Place.
