Oleta Gideon, 75, of Georgetown, Texas passed away on January 7, 2018 in Georgetown, Texas.
She is survived by her sons: Brett Gideon and wife Kathleen of Georgetown, Texas, and Craig Gideon of Georgetown, Texas; grandchildren: Allison Gideon, Leslie Gideon, and Cameron Gideon of Georgetown, Texas; sister, Juanita Harrison of Joshua, Texas, and Mary Cox of Fayetteville, Texas; and brother, Johnny Bonnett of Ellington, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Gideon who passed away on November 28, 2010; and her brother, Charles Bonnett.
Oleta met her husband Ken in Ozona, Texas when she was there visiting a relative. She met Ken at the grocery store where he was working. He offered to show her around the big town of Ozona, which led to a loving marriage of 48 years.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Ramsey Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Liberty Hill Cemetery with Minister Shawn Montandon of the Gabriel Oaks Church of Christ, Georgetown officiating.
