Alice Jeannine Mount, 88, of Temple, TX passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Scott & White Hospital in Temple. She was born on February 11, 1938 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to parents, James Mack Jones and Edna Mae (Wileman) Jones.
Jeannine was a 1956 graduate of W. B. Ray High School in Corpus Christi, TX. It was in Corpus Christi that she met her beloved husband, Ronald Tracy Mount, and they were married on August 3, 1957. They were married for 45 years, separated only by his passing in 2001.
Jeannine, or Aunt Jeanie as her many nieces and nephews called her, was a stay at home mom for her two boys. She loved watching them play sports and kept every article, program or other memorabilia from their youth.
A fierce animal advocate, Jeannine spent countless hours rescuing neighborhood stray animals and donating to charitable organizations. When she wasn't keeping herself up to date on current events, she could be found cheering on her beloved Astros or bingeing the latest shows.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and her two sisters, Jo Ann Smith (Edward) and Maxine Hickey (Michael).
Jeannine is survived by her two sons: Jeff (Debbie) Mount and Tracy (April) Mount; six grandchildren: Shelby (Jay) Liske, Katie (Joe) Gonzales, Jenna (Kurt) Grover, Tanner (Caitlyn) Mount, Austen (Brynne) Mount, and Evan (Anna) Mount; twelve great grandchildren: Jackson, Nixon, Addison, Duke, Harper, Brady, Sheppard, Emerly, Aiden, Nora, Emilia and Cooper; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 10:00am at Ramsey Funeral Home in Georgetown, TX with Rev. Michael Shane Hickey officiating.
