Alfonso Velazquez Olalde, 51, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away at his home surrounded by family on February 18, 2023, after a hard-fought 4 year battle with cancer. Alfonso was very dedicated to his family, always very positive, kind and with a very pure Heart. He was loved by all.

Alfonso was born on April 20, 1971 to Jesus and Belen Velazquez in La Hacienda de Guadalupe, Mexico. He was raised with three brothers and three sisters in Empalme Escobedo GTO. Mexico

Alfonso met Gabriela Moya in 1990, two years later they got married on December 19, 1992. They were happily married for 30 years. They migrated from Empalme Escobedo GTO, Mexico to Texas in 2002 and settled in Florence Tx where they raised their children. The couple had three children, Karla, Jacqueline, and Alan Velazquez.

Alfonso will be remembered for always having such a big smile that would brighten everyone's day. And his favorite saying was "No es nescesario usar la fuerza usa tu inteligencia."

Alfonso is survived by his loving wife, Gabriela Velazquez Moya; and three children Karla, Jacqueline, and Alan Velazquez of Georgetown Tx. Mother Belen of GTO, Mexico and three Brothers. and three Sisters. Plus, a multitude of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins. Alfonso was preceded in death by his father, Jesus Velazquez.

A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Ramsey Funeral Home. Mass will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 01, 2023 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2700 E. University Ave, Georgetown, Tx 78626. The Graveside service will follow at Andice Cemetery in Florence, Tx
