Alejandro Ricardo Martinez, 22, of Jarrell, Texas, formerly of Georgetown, Texas passed away on May 26th, 2021 in Austin, Texas.

A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 11th, 2021 in the Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home with the Recitation of the Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 12th, 2021 in the Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home. Alejandro will be laid to rest following the service at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery in Georgetown, Texas.

Alejandro had an enormous and infectious personality. He was extremely funny, especially when he wasn't trying to be, which made it even more comical. Alejandro knew so many people and all who met him never forgot him. He had a close group of friends that loved him dearly.

Alejandro was a protector, the glue of his family. He was an awesome big brother, especially to his younger sisters who were special to him and dear to his heart.  Even though Alejandro tried to keep it hidden, he loved his family furiously, and you knew he loved you without him having to tell you, you simply felt it. He had a big heart with an iron gate around it, he spared no feelings when he spoke his mind.  Alejandro wanted the world and was so ambitious, he never gave up on anything he put his mind to.  He had numerous jobs and mastered them all, welding to plumbing excavating construction, to name a few.  He had a spirit like no other and he was stubborn as all get out. No one will ever compare to our Alejandro.

To cherish his memory, Alejandro leaves behind his girlfriend, Cresencia Yanez of Lockhart, Texas; father, Joe R. Martinez Jr. and wife Melissa of Jarrell, Texas; mother, Veronica Martinez of Harker Heights, Texas; grandfather, Ricardo Martinez of New Mexico; grandmother, Cynthia Martinez of Harker Heights, Texas; step-grandfather, Morris Judice and wife Cynthia of Florence, Texas; brother, Kaleb Martinez of Jarrell, Texas; half-brothers: Joe Miranda III, LJ Montez, and Austin Martinez; half-sisters: Amelia Montez and Mia Rose Martinez.

Alejandro was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Ramona Martinez and grandfather, Joe Rios Martinez Sr.

Honored to serve as pallbearers includes Jordan Alvarez, Joel Floriano, Jose Carlos Olivarez, Adrian Bravo, and Tori Gutierrez.

Honorary pallbearers include Larry Gutierrez and Joey Montoya.
